Qingping Sword - Foundations | 青萍剑 基本剑法

The Qingping Sword is considered the epitome of Chinese Swordsmanship. To master the sword requires a system study of its foundation sword methods, then combine with cutting skills and body methods. This course covers the most important 16 foundation sword methods (of the 36 within Qingping Sword). The 16 methods include: Dian 点 (point), Beng 崩 (bounce), Ci 刺 (stab), Yun 云 (cloud circle), Mo 抹(wipe), Gua 挂 (circle parry), Tiao 挑 (pick upwards), Liao 撩 (glide up), Pi 劈(chop), Ti 提 (raise), Bo 拨(poke aside), Chan 缠 (entangle), Jei 截 (ambush), Lan 拦 (block), Chao 抄 (seize circle), Sao 扫 (sweep horizontal). The correct training and variations will be covered, beyond executing the methods. An understanding their combat use and details for effectiveness will be explained. This course also serves as the foundation for all our chinese sword system/programs.

Yi Jing Primer | 周易学 (基础)

One of the most fundamental principles of metaphysics is the foundation from the Yijing (I Ching), or Classic of Changes. This ancient classic, underlies and is the inspiration for much of Chinese cultural practice. Whether in medicine, metaphysics, divination, geomancy, geography, construction, internal cultivation, etc it can all be related to the Yijing. In this short course we provide an introduction to the Yijing, including the 64 hexagrams, 8 bagua and their examples of use in different case studies like predicting events, helping with problem solving, and assessing competencies. Their correlation with other systems will also be introduced.

Bagua Hunyuan Gong | 八卦混元功

The Bagua Hunyun Gong, are a series of Qigong exercises developed by M. Lu Zijian. Its practice includes internal and external practices. Lu Zijian (1893-2012) was well known for his Longevity, as well as high achievements in internal martial arts, Daoist alchemy & Qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This course will include the complete Bagua Hunyun Gong practice.

Zimenquan | 字门拳

Zimenquan is a very rare martial art from Jiangxi province. Renowned for neutralizing techniques and the death-touching skills (Dian Xue, Dim Mak). Considered and internal style, this course introduces the foundation methods including: Standing Post/Meditation, Body alignment, Yuan Shou, Nei Yuan Wai Yuan, Diao San Guan, Ti Lan Shou, Ban Bi Shou, Jin Qiang Shou, Bai Ma, Pao Tuo and more. The keys to power generation, practice and combat applications will be included.
